Casa natale di Domenico Bulgarini 1887-1966
Bulgarini, who was born in this house, debuted in 1922 with a burlesque poem, successfully performed in many Italian theaters. Writer, poet, and dramatic author, he was appreciated by critics and writers Papini, Soffici, and Prezzolini of the influential periodical La Voce.
After the war, he founded in Florence the school publishing company that bears his name.
In his last work, Sweet Santafiora. Chronicles of my mountain, Bulgarini described landscapes, stories, portraits, and traditions of his hometown.
