Via della Peschiera
Located on the outside of the medieval Postern Gate, Via della Peschiera was flanked in the 19th century by stables for the use of the inhabitants of the Castello district. A horse or donkey’s head sculpted by a vernacular artist still marks the ancient entrance to one of them. The road path offers a wealth of panoramic points on the Peschiera gardens and the landscape of upper Fiora valley.
